I called upon you, not just once but twice,
I rolled life’s dice, seeking answers precise.
Signs outside your window, I carefully placed,
Countless messages sent, my heart embraced.
Yet, you ignored me, your gaze turned away,
As I yearned for attention, day after day.
In my pursuit, I lost myself, you see,
Burned places of my body, in pain I’d plea.
I carved my skin, a canvas once so fair,
Tears turned to water, drowning in despair.
But still, you remained oblivious to my plight,
Unseen, unheard, lost in endless night.
Warnings I gave, like whispers in the breeze,
Yet you dismissed them all with casual ease.
No longer will I strive for your affection,
Reclaiming the gifts, I once offered you.
Regret shall find you, in the days ahead,
As my world crumbles, and darkness spreads.
No longer will I seek your fleeting glance,
For you’ve forgotten the beauty of our dance.
Once called me provider, once called me home,
Now I’m but a stranger, left on my own.
But now, you deny me the name of Earth,
In your eyes, a forgotten soul, of little worth.
